Our story: where every adventure begins
For me, "family time" has always been synonymous with the roar of a Ski-Doo and the taste of fair food. Growing up at my grandfather’s cabin on the Mississippi, life was lived at full throttle—boating, hiking, and staying in the water until the sun went down. I grew up knowing that the best family stories aren't told at a dinner table—they're written on the river, in the woods, and around the campfire. I started Story & Co. to help other families find that same sanctuary.
Overcoming vacation fatigue: the "anchor & pivot" strategy
Most families feel pressured to do everything as one giant group 24/7, leading to "vacation fatigue." Grandparents want to relax, parents want to unwind, and kids have endless energy. When everyone is forced into the same rigid schedule, someone always ends up grumpy! Our "Anchor & Pivot" strategy solves this. We suggest one "Anchor Activity" per day for the whole family, then provide "Pivot Options" where groups can split up based on energy levels.

Instead of treating a cruise or hotel as the final destination, we use these high-end "hubs" as a launchpad for rugged, real-world exploration. While other agents are booking spa appointments, we're vetting the best local off-roading trails or finding the perfect spot for a family kayak session. We also solve the "Kidfluence" factor, ensuring everyone, especially the kids, is engaged.
